When was the last time you got to know the people behind the suppliers you work with?

The honest answer is probably never. 

Especially when it comes to the software you use. 

Well we're about to change that! 

At JCM, we've always prided ourselves on the fact that we're a family-run business. 

It genuinely guides how we shape the business as we grow the team, and this year, we entered a new era of the family as the sisters took over!

Yes! JCM is officially a second-generation family business!

So, without further delay, let's introduce ourselves.

We're Sara and Elle and together, we've taken over the running of JCM from our Dad, Chris. 

Dad founded the business back in 2010 and just over a year ago, after a loooooong time of saying he would, he finally made the leap and retired!

So, for just over a year, Sara and I have taken on all things business owner and have successfully completed our first full financial year! 

Sara and I are sisters, and we make up 2 out of the 4 Moran kids!

Sara is the eldest daughter; our brother, Tom, snuck in a year earlier to take the reign of oldest sibling. Then between Sara and I there's our other sister Liz, making me, Elle the youngest of the bunch. 

And some might say it's a miracle Sara and I get along at all as I don't think we could be any different!

There are 8 years between us, so I can't remember much about Sara when I was little, just that she and Tom would throw stones at my window to get me to come and help them sneak in when they'd been out late and I'm sure if you asked Sara, her memory of me in our childhood is of this tiny plaything running around ready to do her bidding!

Where Sara is all pink unicorns and rainbows, I'm the earthy-toned younger sibling. 

Where Sara's favourite film is The Greatest Showman, mine is Lord of the Rings (and no, I still haven't managed to get her to watch them all!).

Sara will proudly stand centre stage in a karaoke bar while I will be sprinting for the exit, but put us together at a gig and we'll gladly link arms and sing our hearts out (and inevitably bawl our eyes out as well)

For as many things that are different about us, there's one thing we both have in common.

We're each other's biggest cheerleaders. 

No matter what it is, whether it's hyping each other up to send a difficult email, cheering over a video call when a DIY project actually works or reassuringly saying "we're all good" in a situation where "good" may be an overstatement, we're right there when the other needs us, no questions asked. 

So know that when you see JCM out in the world, or you choose to work with us, know you've got 2 of the best sisters you could ask for at the helm (powered by a playlist no one else is allowed to see and the occasional "Google of the Day", usually to make sense of another unknown acronym!).
