The Business Network was founded nearly 30 years ago by Helen and Russell Bennett and has grown to a nationwide organisation with events held up and down the country.
The Business Network South Manchester has been holding events in South Manchester/Cheshire for over 10 years and in 2019 was purchased by myself and my wife Win who have a strong pedigree in the networking arena.
With just over thirty members in March 2019 and despite a national pandemic the group has grown to over 60 members which range from sole traders through to companies with 10, 50, and 150 staff with one member company employing over 5,000 staff and a turnover in excess of £1billion!
The ethos of the South Manchester group is to grow a community of like-minded business owners who not only work with each other but also recommend member companies to their clients and suppliers.
The lunches are attended by senior decision-makers as well as very well-known and respected business people who understand the benefit of being in a group such as The Business Network South Manchester.
We’re delighted to offer one lucky person the opportunity to attend one of the twelve lunches in 2022 which includes the attendance of the pre-lunch seminar which is given by a leading businessperson.
The meeting will then with open networking and a sponsored drinks reception for approximately an hour before we sit down for lunch at 12.30 pm. A normal lunch table consists of at least 6 people one of which is your table host who will guide you through the meeting and ensure that everyone on the table has the opportunity to speak and no one is excluded from the conversation.
After lunch, we have a ten-minute recess before a post-lunch talk with one of our members and then three of our members are randomly selected to give a 90-second pitch to the whole room before we finish at 2 pm. However, members and guests are encouraged to stay and make/forge connections.
The cost is normally £46.80 for visitors which includes lunch and the attendee’s details are always forwarded the day after the meeting.
