Is the Care Sector facing a recruitment crisis?

Did you know that, in the Care Sector, there are over 1.5 million domiciliary care visits per day in the UK?

That’s 1.5 million visits to an elderly or vulnerable person’s home by a CAREGiver, providing vital care, companionship, and support. 1.5 million visits every day.

And yet, according to Care Skilled, there are currently over 100,000 care sector jobs vacant, with a projected 650,000 positions required by the year 2035. The care industry is facing a recruitment crisis.

If the pandemic has taught us anything, it’s how invaluable our CAREGivers are.

At JCM, we’ve already helped a couple of care sector organisations implement Zoho into their day to day lives but we are striving to do more! And that starts with learning.

All this week, I’ve committed to learning as much as I can about the Care Sector, learn what problems they are facing, what restrictions are holding them back, and how we can help.

Do you work in the Care Sector? Perhaps you are a CAREGiver, a manager of a Care Home, or own a Domiciliary Care organisation. I would love to know how we can help.

We’re working hard behind the scenes on a solution that we believe will help address the recruitment crisis faced by so many care organisations. If this is something you would be interested in learning more about, leave us a message and you’ll be the first to know as soon as our solution is ready.
